LGBTQIA+ people are more likely to experience poor mental health die to experiencing minority stress. Adapting to new environments is not always straightforward and research suggests that some LGBTQIA+ individuals might conceal their identities due to internalised homo/transphobia and fear of negative responses from others. This collection explores the social, cultural, physical and psychological transitions experienced by LGBTQIA+ across the life course. We are interested in papers which explore both educational and professional contexts as well as everyday life.  We welcome papers which adopt participatory and/or innovative methodological approaches.
